Don’t Wait for Something to Happen for Something to Happen
Happy New Year. Have you been waiting for the New Year to come for you to start your diet, start a new schedule, to do better for yourself or even start looking for a new job? Well, the New Year is here. Now what? What has changed from yesterday for you? Not much, just a different day with a new number for the year. I know something you can start this year. When you get a thought to do something that will impact your life positively, just do it. You don’t have to wait to begin on Monday or the beginning of the next month or when the weather warms up or when this person does that or when you have the perfect whatever or when the kids are grown. If you do that, you are putting your goals on a contingency plan. So, if these stipulations you have set don’t occur, you don’t have to do whatever it is that you, in essence, really want to do. Then you can have an excuse for not doing it or it not working out. No excuses here. When you know what you want to do, make a plan and execute. If you wait for something to happen before something can happen, then NOTHING is going to happen.
